Map Scale, it’s easy to say, but always exchange between map with big scale or small scale. Our logical thinking of map scale, map with big scale is 1 : 1.000, explain are 1 : 1.000 (=0,001) and map with small scale are 1 : 1.00.000 ( = 0,00001), so map scale 1 : 1.000 bigger than 1 : 1.00.000. If you have seen the map, for example administratif boundaries, the map with big scale that’s you can see the RT/RW administratif boundaries. Map with medium scale if you can see only Kabupaten/Kota administratif boundaries, then if you can see all of the Indonesia Map that is small scale.
The Map Scale :
Small Scale 1 : 1.000.000,1 : 500.000, 1 : 250.000,
Medium Scale 1 : 100.000, 1 : 50.000, 1 : 25.000, 1 : 10.000
Big Scale 1 : 5.000, 1 : 1.000, 1 : 500
(1 cm on the map is 1……on the real, depent on map scale)
